MISSION
To promote and grow the game of golf through fun and Professionally conducted events, using the Georgia Department of Natural Resources’ PGA of America golf professionals and the USGA Rules of Golf. To conduct exceptional junior golf tournaments in a fair, highly competitive manner with reasonable entry fees. To create an atmosphere of sportsmanship and camaraderie that brings out the best in our future champions.
OVERVIEW
The Georgia Junior Golf Tour will conduct eight 36 Hole Stroke Play Events from March to October of 2012 and one season-ending 36 Hole Champion’s Cup (to be held November 3-4 at Little Ocmulgee in Helena). All events are held Saturdays and Sundays. Players earn points for each event based on performance. The top 15 Point leaders from all age groups qualify to compete in the season ending Champion’s Cup. Champion’s Cup entry fee is $125.00 for all ages.
ENTRY FEES:
$125.00 per event for age 10 & Older
$100.00 per event for age 9 & Under
$70.00 per event for Additional Child
School Team Discount:
Bring two or more players from your school team and receive a 20% discount on entry fees.
AGE REQUIREMENTS:
The players ages as of June 1, 2012 determines their age group for entire season.
